Good, Compare and Contrast Essay Topics
Good, Compare and Contrast Essay TopicsA good Compare and Contrast essay will be less obvious than one that features many arguments and will be less rigid than an essay that is missing a strong conclusion. The essay should be less direct, but it must still produce an argument that you can defend to others. In fact, your arguments should be stronger than those of many other students who are on the same course. You should avoid a lot of points in your essay. Some of them are not worth your time and effort. Avoid such points as a prominent personality. You are not required to use that person's name, but if you do, it must do more than merely reference their personality. If you cannot find another way to make your point, avoid using the personality clash. If it is possible to just write a paragraph without the personality clash, that is preferable. At the same time, be careful not to mention that it is that personality that is at fault.Be aware that the personality clash can be a very seri ous problem in that it may prevent you from being completely honest with your professor. It is not required that the two of you discuss that particular point in depth. However, it is advisable that you do because it helps build trust. That also builds a mutual respect for one another.Your essay should be written in clear, straightforward language. Don't make spelling mistakes, but avoid grammatical ones. You can spend lots of time worrying about grammar, but you won't get much done.Start each section with a brief summary of what you are trying to say. And you want to show that you are writing objectively, even if the statements that you are making are not. You should start each section with a few sentences that summarize the point you are trying to make and then proceed into the main body of the essay.Select a topic that is under discussion. If there is a topic that everyone agrees is important, you can use that. On the other hand, if you are going to choose a topic that is not wide ly covered, you should select one that has been poorly studied or one that is controversial.Find an essay that is easy to read. A well-written essay makes a strong argument. You do not need any information that is hard to understand.
